For anyone interested, the front of the building is now 4 luxury flats. The hall at the back was bought by a property developer, knocked down and turned into a block of flats. But due to the building being listed the council said some part had to remain as a community space, so we now run a community co/working and events space called Hatcham House, in the hall at the back left which I have been told used to be snooker rooms. If you're interested in finding out more visit www.hatchamhouse.com We have only been here since 2020, but we think it's important to keep the buildings history alive and always tell it's story when we do events/show prospective members round. We love people coming by to tell us their stories of how they use to use the space years ago. If you're ever in the area, drop in for a cup of tea :) Laurahttp://www.hatchamhouse.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8650332.post-17105666373767513242021-02-09T21:38:59.205+00:002021-02-09T21:38:59.205+00:00Hi joice I'm Alan William Strong, my father wa...Hi joice I'm Alan William Strong, my father was William Herbert Strong I think you are talking about my grand father.
