Graffiti Ghosts
The Ruinist has a good post - The Eclipse and Re-emergence of Something - on some fading South London graffiti. Among other things he finds traces of the 1980 fight against the National Front in Walworth (there's still the painted word SCARF - for Southwark Campaign Against Racialism and Fascism - on Amelia Street), and establishes that 76 Peckham Road was a mid-1970s anarchist publishing hothouse.
