BNP Buffoon Unwell

Richard Barnbrook, BNP member of the London Assembly, was apparently too ill this week to be questioned about his untrue claims last year that three people had been murdered in Barking & Dagenham (in fact none had, a blatant attempt to stir up panic). Funny he looked fine when I saw him last week wandering around More London (SE1), or at least he looked no more like a badly dressed cadaver than usual.

I don't think anyone in the UK is likely to be arguing at this juncture that "Lib/Lab/Con" are "so pure and don't do anything they shouldn't"...

It's just that hearing about racist neo-nazi scum feeling a bit unwell does brighten one's morning a little if you are not neo-nazi scum yourself, are opposed to everything the BNP stands for, and would like nothing more than to see their vile corruption of what it means to be British wiped off the face of the planet like the slime that it is.

If there was a whole blog devoted to documenting the mishaps of BNP members: who has stubbed their toe, who has got the measles, who has lost their wallet, etc; I would subscribe to it for sure.

Now thats just how i feel about the other parties.I agree with the BNP about keeping Britain British,There are lots of people who are British and feel the same even though they may be a different colour or religion. This isnt about racism its about heritage and whats right. Our government has this open door policy and we are being flooded. As the other countries join the EU then even more will be coming in.We can not keep on allowing everyone in.Sad as it seems. We must look after ourselves. Our local MP who by the way is an Asian gentleman has stated he wants us out of the EU and cuts on immigration. Its across the board. Why do people say that its an issue of racism. At the end of the day 1,000,000 voted them in democratically the same will happen at the elections if our government dont listen.Youll see.

£10 to the first poster who says
'I'm not racist but...'

Just read the BNP Mini Manifesto, good if you like a laugh. I do like this one...

"invest in high speed, magnetic levitation, inter-city rail network"

Presumably FOR WHITES ONLY!

Our "British heritage" is built on successive waves of immigration. Three or four generations back some of my ancestors were Italian, for instance. So does that make me non-British? Where do you draw the line exactly?

Even the vaguest understanding of British history – and of the complexity of different "foreign" cultures that came together to create what you seem to think of "British culture" – would, and does, expose the BNP party line as the racist noxious divisive bullshit that it is.

My England is an England where Greek cypriot baclava stalls sit next to jerk chicken emporiums and alongside Jewish delis, right next door to the fish and chip shop. And where Tippa Irie is as much of a national icon as Vera Lynn.

The BNP's corrupted version of "British values" and "British culture" is not one that I recognise as my own or as the culture and values of my ancestors. My ancestors fought and died to keep Nazi pricks off their soil, and that, for me, is the British culture that is worth defending.

Leaving aside that my culture and country is English and England, not some Johnny-come-lately construct called Britian, anyone with more than a passing nod to history and heritage based on something other than bollocks would have to realise that anything you could call a heritage comes from 4,000 years of immigration.
