The Amersham seems to have massively scaled back its events schedule. I haven't been down there for a while but they don't seem to have the bands on that they used to. Someone mentioned that they may be shutting the back room. Is there any truth in that?
Not sure quite what's going on - somebody mentioned to me that they were waiting for part of their license to be renewed. Not sure if that's true or not.
The Amersham have decided to get rid of their live music license. With rising costs and a fierce live music market in London it seems fair enough. They still have more events than any other venue in the New Cross area though.
The 'other' Jumble sale at the Amersham is called Jumble and is every 1st Saturday - http://www.jumblemonthly.co.uk
