Flying Duck Enterprises, the kitsch/retro shop in Greenwich, is closing at the end of January after 13 years of Elvis phones, 1970s magazines and Tretchikoff prints. They say 'we have really loved having our shop & enjoyed all our customers but recent changes to Greenwich especially the influx of chain stores has made us feel it's not where we want to be any longer ...so sadly yet another independent shop on the high street bites the dust...'. There's a closing down sale for the next few weeks.
Another reason to to go to Greenwich vanishes, following the recent demise of Essential Music.
