New Cross Street Art

The area around the old Deptford Town Hall on New Cross Road (now a Goldsmiths building) is a bit of a street art gallery, especially the alleyway next to it. It features an interesting clash of styles, with what appear to be art student efforts rubbing up against tagging.

Hooray! Always brilliant to see street art given due attention. Unless I'm mistaken or it's a huge ripoff, the large black and white painted animals are by ROA, whose creatures also crawl up Peckham's Bussey Building and locations across the world. SO COOL.

Yes, the bird is similar to the one on Bussey isn't it?
