The Teletubbies House, SE5

In New Church Road, Camberwell, there's a partially demolished council block with a bed suspended from the ceiling, complete with some Teletubby toys. I guess this could be some Camberwell art student effort, but I prefer the idea that the builders spontaneously decided to create this installation. Anybody know any more?

Ooh, how kooky and bohemian

Actually that looks fucking scary.

Well you certainly wouldn't want to spend a night in that bed.

it looks like a chair in the next section is also suspended...

i saw that, assumed it was art of some sort, actually each flat has something suspended, think its chair in one, sofa in another, table in another.

its a pity that it is probably some squatters and was one illegally and actually doesn't say much about regeneration or social housing, just a few kids mucking around, though I am sure they probably think of it as being part of an intellectual process, and its a pity it comes off as patronising and offensive to the community

I think most parts of the community are thick skinned enough not to be offended by a few cuddly toys.
